SUPER ABSORBENT POLYMER WASTE SOLIDIFICATION

Acuro's designed WATERLOCK 50D is a granular Superabsorbent Polymer, that absorbs under pressure and has properties that make it ideally suited for the absorption and solidification of low level radioactive waste (LLRW) and waste sludges. It is a cross-linked polyacrylate material that swells and absorbs many times its weight in aqueous solutions. Its strong ion exchange property allows heavy metal binding and waste solidification.
