SODIUM ALUMINATE

Sodium Aluminate is an inorganic compound, widely used in industrial and commercial applications. It is synthesized by a combination of Aluminium oxide in presence of excess causticity. While mixed with water, It may produce some amount of heat and also reacts exothermically with acids. It is available in both wet and dry grades.

Water treatment process	It is used in water softening, better flocculation, and effective removal of dissolved silica, fluorides and phosphates
Paper industry	It is used for increasing the opacity retention of fibers, paper strength and filling material as well as for fire brick production, alumina production and so forth. It assists in attaining alumina quantity required for sizing. Alongside, it also provides a better coagulation and retention performance.
Paints industry	It is used to improve weathering resistance of paints.
Construction technology	It is utilized for fastening the solidification of concrete, especially during frost. Its solutions are intermediates in the production of zeolites.
